2. What’s something you hide about your personality?

I procrastinate like fuck. Like procrastination is a special talent that I should work very hard on every day. It’s kind of awful. Which is to say: I hide the fact that I am fundamentally lazy behind being very open about how I’m quite ambitious. (This seems to be an uncommon move, in the self-deprecation game.)

8. Describe your favourite texture.

Slightly chilled human skin.

— no wait, come back, I’m not a serial killer I swear. I just love the way skin feels when it’s slightly cold. This actually comes out of self-stimming behavior (I’m not autism-spectrum, but I have a few non-neurotypical habits): stroking the insides of my own wrists is how I used to calm down when I was tiny.

Alternately: snakeskin! on actual, living snakes. Smooth, sinuous things are good to touch.

26. Which mythological creature are you most like? Why? And if you could be any mythological creature, which would you want to be? Why?

After consultation with the matchless Taz, I have concluded I am most like a sphinx (secret-keeper, riddle-speaker, probably going to eat you if you don’t say something interesting soon.)

What I’d like to be like? An Alkonost. i.e. a Russian siren. I think mostly because I love both the iconography, the heritage (I’m half Russian), and the Lethe-like properties. Obsession is my favorite game.
