That is so sweet, anon. I’m flattered.

As for the second half of your question: wit, mostly. Clever, ambitious people who will not run screaming when I decide that the height of conversational grace is to make rude allusions to Origen and Homestuck simultaneously, and who are better than me at something I think is really cool.

And, well. Someone who will put up with the peripatetic scholar-poet gig. (So that’d be: likes travel; does not mind if I vanish for six months to some other continent; willing to receive terrible, sappy love-notes in the international mail whilst I do.)

All else is ‘wherever my horrid habits of fixation settle’, and have been in the past of multiple genders, sexualities, and relative compatabilities with me.
